{Poetry}: Day Twenty-One: Another Moment

He dropped to one knee,
me in a maroon dress,
my hair pulled away
from my face.
He had a ring hidden
and a smile exposed.
When he slipped it
on my finger,
the world vanished.

The magic began.
Me as his,
his as mine.
He-my king,
me-his queen.
Together forever.
Our lives intertwined.
Our lives began
as one.
